Our New Webinar Series: “What I’m Learning”
We invited several leaders to join us for a new webinar series called “What I’m Learning,” where they revealed, in often very personal terms, what they were gleaning about leadership—and themselves—amid the turbulence of 2020.
The spring of 2020 proved to be one of the most tumultuous in modern American history, defined by a worldwide pandemic, a jolt to the U.S. economy, and the murder of George Floyd and the ensuing national protests around it. For many American business leaders, these crises proved to be the biggest challenge of their careers. We invited several to join us for a new webinar series we launched called “What I’m Learning,” where they revealed, in often very personal terms, what they were gleaning about leadership—and themselves—amid the turbulence. Our initial three webinars, centered around the issue of the impact to the global food supply chain and employees, featured Roz Brewer, the COO of Starbucks; Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, the CEO of Feeding America, the second-largest charity in the U.S.; and Brian Schiegg, the COO of Ocean Spray. These revealing webinars, including questions submitted live, provided critical insights into the minds and motivations of the country’s key decision-makers.
