THE DIVERSIFIED SEARCH GROUP NAMED ONE OF THE TOP 5 EXECUTIVE SEARCH FIRMS IN U.S.
Firm rises two slots from 2019; third consecutive year in Top 10
NEW YORK — Forbes Magazine has ranked The Diversified Search Group as one of the top five executive search firms in the country in its annual ranking of the nation’s best executive search firms. Rising two spots from last year, the firm recorded its third consecutive year appearing in the top ten of the prestigious business magazine’s list, released last week.
“During this turbulent time for American leadership, we are both proud and humbled to once again receive this incredible designation from one of the country’s premier business publications,” said Diversified Search Group CEO Dale E. Jones. “If our current climate shows anything, it is the need for bold and visionary leadership at every level of American life.”
The Diversified Search Group is the umbrella brand for Diversified Search and its combined firms of BioQuest, based in San Francisco; Koya Leadership Partners, headquartered in Boston; Grant Cooper, based in St. Louis; and Storbeck Search & Associates, headquartered in Media, PA. Diversified acquired BioQuest in 2016, and added Koya, Grant Cooper, and Storbeck in 2019. The firm is also the official U.S. partner of AltoPartners, the international alliance of global search firms with 53 offices in 31 countries worldwide.
Partnering with market research company Statista, Forbes determined its fourth annual list of the Top 200 executive search firms—those specialized in placing executives earning more than $100,000 per year—through surveys of company clients, candidates, and CHROs who had engaged or worked with search firms during the past three years. Search firms could not nominate themselves. The magazine evaluated firms for their ability over the past year to excel in what it called “a unique employment environment, one where, for the first time in recent memory, organizations have found themselves struggling to attract the workforces they need to succeed.”
“We are pleased to offer a unique business model in the search industry, and to have the quality of that model confirmed through this continued honor from Forbes,” said Judith M. von Seldeneck, who founded Diversified Search in 1974 with the vision of finding executive roles for women and underrepresented communities, and who currently holds the title of Founder and Chair. “Our commitment to our clients, to advance leaders and transform organizations, remains as strong as ever.”
