Chris Berger joined the Diversified Search Group in 2017 to co-lead the firm’s Human Resources practice, after seven successful years as co-owner of the successful boutique HR executive search firm RomanoBerger LLC. Berger brings close to 20 years of executive search experience focused in the Human Resources arena, and 10 years in HR on the corporate side. He has completed hundreds of senior executive search assignments across all functional areas of human resources and across multiple industry sectors. His clients have ranged from Fortune 50 multinationals to startups.

Berger entered the executive search profession in 1999 when he was recruited into Korn/Ferry International’s Human Resources practice, and quickly became a leading member of the execution team. Several years later, he co-founded the Human Resources practice at TMP Worldwide (later Highland Partners). When TMP was acquired by Heidrick & Struggles, Berger was recruited to further develop the HR practice at CTPartners.

Berger began his career at May Department Stores, completing the company’s highly regarded Executive Training Program. He served briefly as an assistant buyer before entering human resources, where he led merchant training, corporate communications, college relations, and executive recruiting for a May division. In 1995, he was recruited by Melville/CVS Corporation, where, as HR Generalist, he recruited leadership roles before becoming Vice President of Corporate Human Resources and Staffing. Berger was briefly recruited back to the corporate side during his search career to become head of the executive recruiting for insurance giant Aetna.

Prior to her search career, Boreham held various business and marketing leadership positions with the largest and fastest-growing division of Baxter Healthcare, Inc., where she was responsible for launching a range of product lines that gained worldwide recognition, and more recently as Business Manager for the Critical Care division at Johnson & Johnson, where she was responsible for the development of a patient monitoring technology product in the provider healthcare space.

Eversman brings a distinct global perspective to his search work, having spent the bulk of his career working in London, and his clients have included many multi-national energy corporations. Prior to joining Diversified Search, Eversman served as Global Head of the Energy practice at Pederson & Partners, where his clients included companies in the oil & gas, power and utilities, energy services, private equity, and financial services sectors. The practice was also highly active in the renewable energy space, helping companies attract both C-suite and board talent.

Eversman began his search career at Preng & Associates, where he spent ten years as Managing Partner in the London office and also did a fair amount of work in Moscow. He went on to lead the European Energy practice at TMP Worldwide Executive Search in London before joining Heidrick & Struggles, where for 14 years he served as Partner, working in both London and Moscow in the energy, natural resources, and industrial sectors. He later served as Partner at Drax Executive, also in London.

A veteran of the United States Air Force, Eversman served as an Airborne Cryptologic Linguist at the Royal Air Force base in Mildenhall, United Kingdom, and also taught Russian for the University of Maryland in its European campus. Previously, she was with Cablevision Systems Corporation, where she built the first in-house executive recruitment department. In 1997, O’Such established the Global Entertainment, New Media & Sports practice for Norman Broadbent International, a London-based search firm. Earlier, she worked in sales and marketing in the entertainment, cable, communications, and publishing industries.

Lebonitte’s career in investment research began at Citigroup, where she was part of the Washington, D.C.-based team performing analysis of legislative and regulatory issues concerning publicly traded healthcare companies. In 2008 she joined Marwood Group, a healthcare advisory firm based in New York and Washington, D.C. In the role of Vice President, Healthcare Research, she offered clients strategic analysis and insight on payment and policy issues affecting hospitals, post-acute providers, and managed care, including issues relating to the impact of the Affordable Care Act.

Her career in executive search began in 2015, when she joined Korn Ferry as a Senior Associate in Healthcare Services. There she led search execution for clinical executive leadership and C-Suite positions within not-for-profit integrated delivery systems, academic medical centers, schools of medicine, faculty practices and employed medical groups, and community hospitals, among other duties.

Lebonitte began her professional career as a human resources assistant at Boston Children’s Hospital before joining Johnson & Johnson in its U.S. Government Affairs group in Washington, D.C. Vice President and Senior Associate

Jeannine Sommer is Vice President and Senior Associate in the New York office of the Diversified Search Group, where she supports the Digital Media, Entertainment, and Sports, and Technology and Innovation practices.

Sommer began her career in executive search in 1995 as a Research Assistant with Bishop Partners. After two years she joined Norman Broadbent International as Director of Research. There she assisted senior management in launching the firm’s Entertainment and New Media practice while putting together a research team responsible for a wide variety of database projects.

More recent positions include Senior Vice President of Search Management at Carlsen Resources, where she was responsible for overseeing the search process, as well as managing Carlsen’s clients and candidates; Director of Executive Recruitment for Cablevision Systems, where her responsibilities included executive-level searches for all 26 properties owned and operated by the company; and consulting for ThinkBRQ.

Senior Research Associate

Corey Albright is the Senior Research Associate, Knowledge Management at the Diversified Search Group, having rejoined the firm in 2019. He works mainly in the CEO and Board Practice, supporting all aspects of the search process, including: drafting position specifications; developing search strategy; conducting market and candidate research development; creating candidate reports and assessments; and creating other custom client deliverables.

Albright originally came to Diversified Search in 2017. Most recently, he worked as a Senior Governance Research Analyst for MSCI, an investment research firm based out of New York City. There, he was responsible for researching and rating the corporate governance policies/structures of publicly-traded companies; helping institutional investors identify potential governance risks within their investment portfolios.

Previously, Albright spent several years as a corporate governance research analyst for the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), based in Washington, D.C. At NACD, he conducted research on corporate governance matters; managed and led the production of NACD’s research deliverables including publications, corporate governance surveys, custom board and governance bench-marking projects for Fortune 1000 clients.

Research Associate

Kelly Keough is a Research Associate at the Diversified Search Group, joining the firm in 2018. She works primarily in the consumer and retail, energy and natural resources, and industrial sectors.

Keough boasts a deep knowledge of Latin America. She studied in Bolivia and has written extensively on Latin American business, politics, and culture. A native Spanish speaker, she also has broad experience as translator and served as an intern for the America Society/Council of the Americas, where she prepared policy briefs for the senior director as well as providing logistical support and event planning assistance for various programs and forums.

Research Associate

Katrina Luna is a Research Associate at the Diversified Search Group, working primarily in the Human Resources practice. She joined the firm in 2017. Prior to this role, she served as the Office Manager for the New York office.

Prior to joining Diversified Search, Luna worked as a unit service assistant in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit of Stanford Children’s Hospital in Palo Alto, California. She began her professional career at Stanford University, having worked as a Research Assistant in the Department of Biology post-graduation.

Luna concentrated in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz. During her time there, she was awarded the Research Mentoring Institute Scholarship, and was also a member of the Society for Advancing Chicanos and Native Americans in Science.
